On Your First Month

Oh how I crave to hold you in my arms,
And how I long for the touch of tiny feet,
Oh how I adore you, my child,
That you are God's sanctified and precious gift.

You remind me of how I was born ages ago,
And how our heavenly Father holds us in His arms.
Oh how I love to love you, my child,
That you make me know my Father's heart.

As you grow in the sight of our saviour,
He has promised to always answer your call.
Oh how I desire to bring you to His throne,
That you may hold His finger and walk.

With blessings your mother and I bless you,
And let love bind us all together forever.
Oh how sweet are our pecks on your radiant face,
That you may witness our union and care.

The picture says that Bambi most certainly would have swapped this cake for milk! The other picture is of a pair of woolen shoes that Svetlana, my colleague, gifted to Bambi. She knit them herself. That's amazing and that's amazing love. Bambi is blessed to have such beautiful people in her life. God bless Svetlana.
