Love

Slowly I slip into dreamy world with sleep laden eyes,
And I carry nothing more than aching desire for you,
With the day break and with thanksgiving to the Lord,
I open my eyes to witness beauty of life in you.

The peace and joy of our God that we share,
Love and togetherness in his presence when we offer prayers,
Gift you are for me so I know from Him, my dear wife,
Of his binding and unconditional love for me as He cares.

In my walk in faith on my journey to the eternal home,
Your steps in companionship makes me delight more in Him,
And I promise to my heart to love you so much more,
In the true and everlasting way the love we find in Him.
